Join Keith Lefthand for an afternoon of learning and understanding. The focus will be on Truth and Reconciliation with Indigenous people.
This is a free event but a donation is appreciated.
Keith Lefthand lives in Gahnha (Eden Valley), 30 kms west of Longview. He is an elder in the community, a carpenter, a father and grandfather, and in past years, a Band Councilor.
On Friday, October 1st, Keith will be host discussions at his tipi in Eden Valley, Alberta.
Keith will start the day at 10:00 am with a smudge ceremony and prayer. After this, Keith will host discussions for 2-hour intervals starting at the top of every even hour. The last session will start at 6:00 pm - a meal will be provided at this time. 3 sessions total.

Donations and Gifts
There is no charge for this event.
However, donations and gifts are encouraged. At the present time, hosting events, teaching, and leading discussions is Keith’s only source of income.
If you would like to bring a gift, traditional gifts include tobacco (used in ceremonies) and blankets but other gifts are welcomed.
If you are planning to make a donation. Keith has a specific project. Corrie-Lynn Lefthand is on the left in the first picture and riding the horse in the next picture. She is Keith and Jamie Lefthand's oldest daughter. She works at Chief Bearspaw School as a teacher's aid.
